Relationship Focussed Dog Trainer. My goal: enhance the human-dog bond + improve the dog's quality of life = a win-win for people and pets.
"There is freedom on the other side of discipline."
Dogs are naturally mindful. They live ‘in the moment’.
When our canines are awake, all their super senses
are engaged to interpret their world.
Ever aware of their surroundings.
Sniffing out information.
Looking for patterns.
They particularly love observing their human companions,
in an attempt to try and ‘figure us out’.
Exploring how best to interact,
so the outcome is advantageous.
At ‘The Mindful Dog’ we train dogs and humans alike.
Our aim is to strengthen the human-dog bond,
by encouraging a better mutual understanding,
so a meaningful and mindful relationship can flourish.
A win-win for people and their pets.
Our dog training approach takes it’s cue from science;
e.g. cynopraxic methodologies and the L.I.M.A principle
as outlined by Steven R. Lindsay, balanced with a
Relationship Centred Training™ philosophy,
as described by Suzanne Clothier, and the wisdom and
experience shared by elite dog trainers, such as
Steve and Vicki Austin.
